I love the chance to photograph maternity sessions, such an incredible time to capture and treasure. A woman’s body is so truly amazing and this beautiful mama is no exception. Can you believe this is baby number four?

It’s crazy over here, we have had a great summer with lots of travel and adventures, and now with one week to go I feel like we are sprinting to the finish. On a recent trip to San Diego for Camp Surf (awesome!), I snuck in a little photo shoot for a friend with a fabulous baby bump.

I did my first session of maternity photos for my sister this past week. She is due in less than a month, which I think is a nice time to take maternity shots. We raced down to Manhattan Beach to catch the sunset and only had about 30 minutes of light to get the photos done. I am super pleased with the results. Of course it helps that the subject is my sis, she is beautiful, and we had gorgeous light as well.

I can’t wait to share some photos of baby A when she arrives!
